break away holiday recount

Kia ora, 

During the holidays I went to a holiday program called the breakaway holiday program. The program was held at Kaikohe Christian School and hosted by Whaea Michelle and other Kaikohe Christian School staff. I had the most fun there and to find more about I have a read of this recount I wrote about it. Also something I learnt well writing this was how to write a recount because if never writen a recount before.

On the holidays I was asked if I wanted to go to the Holiday Program that they do every term break. So of course knowing me I went to it; it was my favourite experience these holidays because there were so many people I met. The program was held at Kaikohe Christian School and it was from 8:00am to 9:00pm on both days. I also wanted to say thank you to Whaea Michael for hosting it. 

 The first day we stayed at the school and we had teams. There was green, pink, black, yellow, purple, white, red and gold. It was a competition with who could win the most activities and get a prize. There were a lot more spot prices to win though. The activities were bike life, dodgeball, true or false ( that's just when the teacher asks a question and our whole team has to go to one side of the room that says true or false),activity room, multi sport and a fun race. It was an on and off setting one hour it would be rainy and miserable and the next it would be sunny as a daisy. Some people were a little enthusiastic; others not so much.

Then the next day we went to whangarei, there were two groups one went to ten pin bowling, the other group  went to the wave pools first then swapped places and we all ended up at the wave pools together for about three hour and had dinner..it was really fun at ten pin bowling because it was laser tag and i obviously lost lol but atleast i had fun right?? After all of that went back to school and the bus ride back was one of the funniest bus rides I ever went on cause we had a singing competition and a group of boys had a whole playlist so of course they won but whatever .Anyway After we arrived at school we did a few things( Some people enjoyed them;others didn’t even want to be there.) Just until we got picked up and my favourite part was actually when we went to school cause we got to do an acting competition and we listened to the story of someone's life and how he turned to the lord and it was really cool to hear. And then  we  got to look at the kapa haka performance that they had been working on.   

Looking back at it all, I'm sure that everyone enjoyed it. I'm even more excited about the next one that i'm going to because i'll get to see everyone i met at the first one.we had food provided so we didn't have to bring lunch if u wanted to know for when u send ur child or go to the holiday program for whoever's reading this.  And another thank you to whaea michael for making this possible.
